Sesotho Media & Development (SM&D) is implementing the “Transforming Gender Norms and Strengthening Domestic Violence Laws for Inclusive Protection Across Lesotho” project, funded by the European Union (EU) under contract NDICI/2025/48490. This three-year initiative (2026 – 2028) promotes gender equality, protects vulnerable populations, and strengthens legal frameworks in Lesotho.

SM&D intends to award a service contract for a Research Consultant. The contract is open to citizens/residents of Lesotho and South Africa.

SM&D intends to award a service contract for a Documentary Film Consultant to produce a documentary showcasing Lesotho’s journey in transforming gender norms and strengthening domestic violence laws. The contract is open to citizens/residents of Lesotho and South Africa.

Project: Civic Education Through Film – Advancing Gender Justice and Health Equity for Vulnerable Basotho Implementing Partner: Sesotho Media & Development (SM&D) Financing Partner: Bread for the World (BftW) Project Period: 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2028 Baseline Study Period: November 2025 – December 2025 (20 days) Submission Deadline: 14th November 2025

SM&D seeks qualified consultants for a comprehensive baseline evaluation covering six districts of Lesotho. The study will assess legislative accountability, community resilience, and gender norm transformation through civic film education.
