SM&D commemorates 16-Days with Security sectors’ institutions raising awareness on Gender Based Violence in their different sectors.
Launch of a 2-part participatory film documentary series which will be used to facilitate ongoing capacity building within Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS), Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Media and Community Leaders. The film was launched in Mafeteng Ha-koepe, Thaba-tseka Sehong-hong, Marakabei in Maseru rural and Leribe.
The 14th Annual Lesotho International Film Festival brought together filmmakers, storytellers, from around the world for a spectacular celebration of cinematic artistry. Hosted at 6 different locations from 28th November to 06 th December 2024, the 14th edition showcased a diverse lineup of films, workshops, and networking events, leaving audiences inspired and entertained.
SM&D held workshops for Healthcare workers, Police and Educators to provide them with tools and strategies to manage stress, enhance mental well-being and improve their capacity to support people they serve in communities.
This event highlighted the accomplishments including enhancing internal mechanisms to address human rights violations, strengthening public led accountability to tuckles security related challenges.
